Writing in his flightcom column, Mike Gough says, "If ever there was an industry in danger of becoming extinct through bureaucracy, aviation has to be it. No amount of legislation will enforce common sense,and adding an electronic thermometer to all my aircraft first aid kits wont stop anyone flying into mountains. CAA, however, feel it will somehow improve us as pilots."
