The newly launched aircraft is a sign of expanded partnership between the two carriers, focusing on an increase of joint sales operations, which follows the implementation of joint codesharing. Since launching the partnership two years ago, the two airlines have carried nearly 900,000 passengers, and grossed joint revenues of $272 million.
In 2013, the two networks saw a 74 percent increase over the previous year with a total of 563,000 common codeshare passengers.
